OVERVIEW

We created the Iris Filter System so we could seamlessly integrate our iPhone video content with our other cameras. Typically, the iPhone’s shutter speeds are much faster than what we shoot with on our other cameras, so we set out to design a filter system to gain more control over the iPhone’s shutter speed, while also creating something that was not obnoxiously bulky. Iris gives you full control over your iPhone’s shutter speed, enabling lower cinematic shutter speeds. Traditionally when shooting at 24 frames per second we lock our shutter speed at 1/50^th, and now, with the Iris filter system your iPhone footage can match that. Included with the base Iris set is an ND8, ND16, and ND32 filter which will cover a solid amount of lighting conditions. For users filming in very bright conditions an expansion pack is available including ND64, ND128, and ND256 filters. Re-gain control over your iPhone’s shutter speed with the Iris filter system. Compatible with the iPhone X, iPhone 7/8 Plus, and iPhone 6/7/8 with or without a case.
